The VstStudioMix Plugin |
Sorry to disappoint you but this plugin is only capable of translating the midi NRPN messages, that a Peavy
StudioMix midi controller generates, into Midi CC messages. Perhaps I can rewrite the code so that it can
generate midi CC messages and/or translate midi CC into other CC messages. But time oh time.., i simply haven't
enough to sit properly on a toilet..
Once again: you can't use this plugin if you haven't got a Peavy StudioMix Midi Controller.
It's still a early version but fully functional. It's heavily based on the studiomixmap program of Wayne Legro. But more flexible because each controller (slider, rotary and button) can be configured to operate on it's own midi channel. The buttons and can send CC or Note On-Off messages. They can also be toggled on or off (white CC or N = toggle on; black CC or N = toggle off). The rotaries and the sliders can only send midi CC messages. The Outer and Inner Jogs are linked on

Please test it and give some feedback on your results. Especially on the channel slider behavior. Can you please verify if the channel slider values go all the way from 0 to 127 and back. I want to know this because of the fact that every studiomix differs in their max values of the sliders.
Credits: I have done it in Delphi with the Vstsdk translated by Frederic Vanmol, the Template and Tutorial of Toby Fleischer, the DIB Controls components orginally created by Peter Morris now mainted by Malcolm Groves and the RLH Knob Render tools made by Rune Lund-Hermansen.
